RESERVOIR ENGINEER (R&D)

Based in Budapest

Our client is one of Europe’s leading oil and gas companies with operations all over EMEA. The company is ranked prominently on the Platts Top 250 Global Energy Company list.

Aim of the role:

Manage the reservoir engineering focused R&D projects from professional point of view, create new R&D project proposals in the field of reservoir engineering and cooperate with the involved partners.

Tasks

• Select and apply of most efficient EOR development possibilities in the company operated concessions.

• Manage the reservoir geology model related R&D projects, in case of necessity can work with reservoir modeling software to support the well selection process in the certain reservoir.

• Define new development possibilities in the E&P related R&D.

• Advise subsidiary’s expert and distribute the knowledge E&P R&D.

• Manage the partnership and discussion with the involved universities or research institutions.

• Cooperate in the new idea generation with other R&D experts.

Requirements

• MSc degree in petroleum/reservoir engineering with additional chemical engineering background

• Minimum 10 years field experience in Upstream R&D

• Knowledge of Upstream value chain and working experience in one of the Upstream value chain elements (exploration, production or field development)

• Fluent English (spoken and written)

Additional information

• The role will be based in Budapest, with short business trips to CEE/ME
