Coberon Chronos Group's client is a global services company with a focus on supporting and servicing oil, gas and chemical customers. We are seeking a business leader with experience in the Upstream area.
Reporting to the Managing Director Canada and working closely with the North American head of O&G, you will be accountable for the Oil, Gas and Chemical services business line in Canada, covering P&L, operations, general performance and people management. We are seeking a resourceful leader with a strong track record in effective operations management, strong business development management (25% hunting / 75% account management) and aggressive revenue growth for this business unit.
The Role
- Oversee the overall quality for the operations targeting the Upstream,Midstream and Downstream customers and ensure consistency throughout Canada
- Work closely with senior management to ensure local initiatives are aligned with the business strategy set for the region
- Achieve the budget in terms of revenue and local contribution for Oil, Gas and chemical services in Canada
- Lead the Canadian sales effort and drive the business revenue growth
- Lead, coach and develop quality driven, results oriented team.
The Requirements:
- Degree in Business Management or in a relevant technical subject ( Graduate Degree a plus) with experience and exposure to Upstream
- 12+ years experience in an operations /management role in a related field in either a services business or an O&G company
- Experience in upstream,midstream and downstream facets of the Oil, Gas & Chemical sectors.
- Ability to assess and analyze the market to recommend new products and services and identify opportunity.
- Results oriented, able to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in oil field services a plus.
