A global engineering and construction contractor is looking for Principal Oil and Gas Engineers.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Engineering degree and Chartered Engineer

• 7+ years’ experience

Knowledge/Skills/Requirements:

• Previous experience working in Oil and Gas development, ideally within a consultancy or front-end environment

• This role resides within the Oil and Gas Division provides consultancy services to upstream onshore and offshore projects.

• Individuals must have had experience in conceptual studies, optimisation work, and/or FEEDs in oil and gas and any upstream or offshore area

• Individuals should be comfortable as part of a large or small team or be able and willing to lead smaller teams in a consultancy environment

• Engineers will be working closely with customers to understand their needs and produce designs and services to meet these needs

• The role may also include providing technical support to business winning activities and coaching and mentoring less experienced staff

• Previous experience working in Oil and Gas development, ideally within a consultancy or front-end environment

• Demonstrable experience and, strong and up-to-date process engineering knowledge of a significant number of the following areas; offshore and onshore oil and water separation and handling, gas processing, sweetening, dehydration, dew point control and upstream processing

• Knowledge and familiarity with industry wide process simulation software

• Possess the skills to manage their own work, and the work of others

• Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills

• Experienced in the execution of conceptual studies, optimisation work and front end engineering design of oil and gas projects

• Good customer focus and cost awareness

Responsibilities: We require oil and gas engineers at all levels

• Engineer level: as above

• Senior engineer level: as above plus able and willing to manage small teams, high attention to detail, increasingly proactive and a broad business understanding

• Principal engineer level: as above plus good communication skills, effective in providing technical support to others and coaching, capable of providing and planning clear technical direction, a recognised and respected technical member of the team

• Principal Consultant level: as above plus recognised as an industry leader within a specific field, strong upward management skills and effectively function and influence at client/project manager level, a strong communicator, able to develop optimised and detailed configurations for units/plants, ability to oversee technical aspects of a project and work effectively across multiple projects, able to clearly understand the commercial drivers for a project and deliver technical solutions that embrace these
