Offsites Shift Supervisor

This position will provide overall supervision to an oil refinery shift operations team to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of various process units and utilities.  This position reports to the Offsites Area Superintendent.

The incumbent is expected to contribute to a positive working environment with a continued commitment to safety and loss control matters.  Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience preferably in refining, industrial and/or petroleum related industries or an equivalent combination of training and experience.  Preference will be given to individuals with a minimum Engineering Technology Diploma and/or experience in Offsites Tank Farm/Jetty Operations.

In addition to technical and operations skills, the successful candidate will be selected based on the following supervisory skills: leadership, team building, delegation, developmental approach with people, decision making and problem solving, planning and organization, effective communications, time management, performance expectation and feedback.
