We are currently recruiting for a global Oil and Gas operator who is offering an excellent career opportunity for experienced offshore Operators, and offshore production or operations specialists. The position of Senior Operator offers a fantastic opportunity on a long-term contract basis with the potential for further extension, with a major Oil and Gas operator working offshore in the North Sea on a 3/3 rotation with an excellent package.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the plant hook up, pre commissioning, commissioning and subsystem operation at all times and reacting appropriately to alarms. To safely and efficiently restart the production plant and Platform utilities following shutdowns. Fulfil the role of Well Head Platform Senior Operator during intervention operations, and act as local command and control co-ordinator. Act as Operating Authority under the electronic permit to work system for the Well Head Platform. Control all plant operations in a safe and efficient manner.
To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:
*Knowledge of fluid and gas mechanics and hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic controls
*Relevant experience working offshore in production/operations environment.
*Good knowledge of platform systems, processes and operating parameters.
*Have good communication, organisational, and problem solving skills
*Ability to interact with personnel at all levels and direct, co ordinate and organise work of production and maintenance personnel.
*Have valid offshore medical, MIST, BOSIET
